Burdock root has been beneficial as a diaphoretic, antibiotic and for hepatic efficiency. Centuries ago it was used for boils, scurvy, diabetes, rheumatism, and as a “blood purifier”. In recent years, herbalists have also found it helpful in treating acne, psoriasis, eczema, contact dermatitis and wounds.
